Una oportunidad que el joven John no desaprovechar\u00eda estudiando ingeniar\u00eda qu\u00edmica; por suerte un profesor de matem\u00e1ticas atrajo su atenci\u00f3n para doctorarse en esta l\u00ednea. Se dice que su carta de recomendaci\u00f3n conten\u00eda una sola l\u00ednea: \u201cEste hombre es un genio\u201d.<!--more-->Sus tesis se basan en el estudio de juegos no cooperativos, algo que inicialmente estaba de moda ya que los investigadores desarrollaban en estos a\u00f1os estrategias de guerra (simulaciones de juegos) que trataban de predecir actuaciones futuras basadas en comportamientos l\u00f3gicos. As\u00ed desarrollar\u00eda la <strong>teor\u00eda de juegos<\/strong> o c\u00f3mo anticipar un hecho basado en los mejores movimientos de los competidores.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/h_B16qD89aM\" width=\"600\" height=\"420\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Tal fue la revoluci\u00f3n que logr\u00f3 reconfigurar esta rama de las matem\u00e1ticas y demostr\u00f3 que la econom\u00eda no era una ciencia si no una rama de estos nuevos planteamientos. Esto le har\u00eda en 1994 ganar el Nobel de Econom\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>Por desgracia se le diagnostic\u00f3 en 1958 de esquizofrenia y sus comportamientos comenzaron a ser err\u00e1ticos, no menos l\u00facidos pero sus actuaciones le llevaron a ser ninguneado pronto por sus compa\u00f1eros. Alucinaciones que limitaban su raciocinio hasta que dedujo que esto tambi\u00e9n era solucionable por su teor\u00eda de juegos y aplic\u00f3 la mejor soluci\u00f3n: ya que las ve\u00eda aunque&nbsp; sab\u00eda que no eran reales lo mejor que podr\u00eda hacer era ignorarlas para continuar con su vida.<\/p>\n<p>Sus estudios siguen siendo estudiados a d\u00eda de hoy en las ramas de Econom\u00eda y se hizo mundialmente famoso gracias a la pel\u00edcula <em><strong>Una mente maravillosa<\/strong><\/em> de Ron Howard donde le daba vida Russell Crow.
