El encuentro lo realiza, peri\u00f3dicamente, la CEDE, la Confederaci\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola de Directivos y Ejecutivos.<\/p>\n<h2>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es el liderazgo?<\/h2>\n<p>Liderazgo se deriva del verbo ingl\u00e9s <em>to lead<\/em>, que pod\u00edamos traducir como guiar, conducir o mostrar el camino y poco tiene que ver con el poder de mando y obediencia, al que lo asociaba<strong> Max Weber<\/strong>, uno de los grandes te\u00f3ricos del fen\u00f3meno de la dominaci\u00f3n y la autoridad. Liderazgo se asocia m\u00e1s con la capacidad de influencia interpersonal, no con la idea mando, orden u obediencia.<\/p>\n<p>El l\u00edder se enfrenta y estimula el cambio, lo hace posible, lo transmite, lo convierte en realizable. <strong>Dirigir es diferente que liderar.<\/strong> El director, o el gestor, se preocupa por administrar, por copiar lo que otros hacen bien, por confiar en los controles y en la visi\u00f3n a corto plazo, le interesan los resultados, aceptan el estado de las cosas y preguntan c\u00f3mo y cu\u00e1ndo. Los l\u00edderes, en cambio, innovan, inspiran confianza, desarrollan las organizaciones, tienen una perspectiva a largo plazo, preguntan qu\u00e9 y por qu\u00e9, desaf\u00edan el <em>statu quo<\/em> y tienen la vista puesta en el horizonte. Ambas figuras, la de los directores o gestores y los l\u00edderes, son importantes, pero cumplen funciones diferentes en las organizaciones.<\/p>\n<p>Los<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.imf-formacion.com\/escuelas\/instituto-ciencias-empresariales\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\"> l\u00edderes del presente y del futuro<\/span> <\/a>est\u00e1n hechos de una pasta especial,<\/strong> no necesariamente innata o natural, tambi\u00e9n se cultiva y se practica.
